When our customers require a specialized custom-designed tool, our experienced staff - working with Integrity's advanced digital fabrication equipment - follows a multi step process. We've developed a precise approval and fabrication procedure to ensure our customers receive the exact tool their job demands.
Approvals
The process begins by listening carefully so we fully understand our customer's application challenge. Then we produce a CAD print. To ensure that we've clearly defined all dimensions and tolerances, we fax the drawing to our customer for approval.
Then, using our ANCA Simulator production software, we custom-design a tool with the geometry our customer specifies. This advanced technology lets us simulate the grinding process and create a 3-dimensional picture of the finished tool in exacting detail. We fax or e-mail that prototype design to our customer for approval.
When that drawing is approved, we confirm the tool's application and select the appropriate material from our inventory or special-order it. Only then can actual process begin.
Grinding
Integrity's experienced tool grinders program our equipment according to the customer's print specifications. Using our TRU-TECH CNC Precision Center less Grinding unit, we cylindrically grind all diameters and step intervals to precise sizes and tolerances.
We use our ANCA tool and cutter grinders to complete the finishing operations as specified by the customer. These advanced CNC machines let us flute, back off and precisely OD-grind tools with chamfers, steps or radii.
Whether applications are tool steel, non-ferrous metals, plastics or other material, we can produce a solid carbide, carbide-tipped or high-speed steel tool on our CNC equipment.
The result - the precise custom-designed tooling our customer ordered, typically finished in 24 to 48 hours.
